Lovely pix. Ever been to El Santuario de Chimayo just east of Los Alamos. Truly moving. It’s on the site where two rivers meet and was a holy site long before the Spanish showed up some five centuries ago. If you get a chance, try to visit.

I have a photo I took of the sanctuaries chapel devoted to children; I can’t post it here so I’ll email to you. The walls are filled with photos of children who are well, many who are not, and even more who are now dead. There is also a long cord from which crutches of children cured, either by miracles or by death, are displayed.
